Finances and money can feel like a block to a lot of us. But it doesn't have to! 

We're excited about partnering with Maria Kleiber for this special offering that's intended to demystify personal finance and help us plot a path forward. Maria is a seasoned consultant and finance professional (and a passionate creative) who is on a mission to make accounting and finance more accessible (and fun!) for all. 

In this offering you will learn how investing your money can be as simple as building out a paint palette.

From this offering, you will be able to:

• Understand personal finance basics
• Explain what investing is
• Respond to common investing hurdles
• Describe the power of the 8th wonder of the world
• Compare building a paint palette to investment portfolio building
• Outline actionable next finance steps

This offering includes:

• A two-hour virtual session
• PDF resources with two accompanying worksheets
• A one-hour check in session
• Multiple opportunities to ask questions to help shape the content shared
• Outlining next three action steps

Personal Finance for Humans Workshop, November 14, 2023, 4-6pm PT

Check-In + Q&A Session, December 5, 2023: 5-6pm PT

This is a two-part offering. The workshop on November 14 will cover everything outline above, and on December 5, we'll meet for a one-hour check-in session. This will be a more casual group session, offering you the opportunity to ask Maria questions and talk through your questions related to your own personal finances and steps forward. We hope that this gives you some space to starting to put what you learn in the workshop into action, and then checking in to see where we're all at and how we can support each other in next steps.

This event is capped at 30 participants, to ensure the space for ample discussion and opportunity to ask Maria questions in both sessions.

About Maria Kleiber

Maria Kleiber has spent her professional career helping organizations and people better understand finance and automate their processes. Through her consulting work, she has worked with large companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Walgreens, and supported smaller businesses like farmers in Mexico, a Brazilian agrotourism company and a rice company in Sierra Leone.  Maria loves making finance accessible and relatable, educating her community on personal finance and investing basics. Maria believes investing for the future and consciously spending money are equally important.

Maria has her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting (minor in Dance) and Master of Professional Accounting degrees from the University of Washington and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Washington.
