About

Join us for two hours every month for Creative Fuel Collective's debut writing group, led by Kerri Ann Stebbins. All writing experience and genres welcome. No matter what you want to do with your writing, we want to help you get there. Whether you want to start a consistent journaling practice, finish a manuscript, try your hand at writing in some different styles and using a variety of prompts, fine-tune your writing skills, get used to sharing your writing aloud, or simply want to be a part of a monthly space centered on writing encouragement, this is the group for you! Every month from October through December, we'll write together during class and bring writing we've worked on outside of class to share with each other. We'll encourage one another and hold each other accountable to writing goals we've set for ourselves within a low-key, inclusive, and judgment-free space. We're capping this group at 10 members to keep it feeling cozy and collaborative. If there's interest beyond the capacity of this group, we may consider creating another one, so please sign up early and reach out if you're interested but these times/dates don't work for you. // About Kerri Ann Stebbins: A fan of stories of all sizes and types, Kerri wrote her first play in the 5th grade—an amusing adaptation of an R.L. Stine story. Since then she's centered her life on words, writing and devouring them in equal measure and at every opportunity. After studying English Literature in college, Kerri dove into the business realm of writing; she's been a freelance writer and editor since 2004 and a book marketer for an independent publishing house since 2016. That she gets paid to help people tell their stories will never stop feeling like a dream. A published poet and artist with (arguably way too) many manuscripts in progress, Kerri can't wait to facilitate creativity and connection through consistency and a shared commitment to helping each other unearth our unruliest stories. When she isn't writing, Kerri is most likely swimming in cold water or painting with her feet in an alpine lake.
